For about 30 years, I’ve been the one with a camera in hand at family gatherings, holidays, and special events. Taking photos has always been a part of my life, something I did because I loved it. Over the years, I collected memories for others without ever thinking of it as a business. But after retiring and finding that job opportunities for someone my age were limited, I started to ask myself what I really wanted to do with my time and energy.
At 68, I chose to create something of my own. With a little push from my family and a lot of encouragement, I decided it was finally time to turn my passion into a business. Starting Photofun With Randi has given me purpose, freedom, and the chance to keep doing what brings me joy—capturing life as it happens. It may be a new business, but the heart behind it has been growing for decades.
